Meet all of Georgia's International Trade Reps

Help for companies looking at international markets

The Georgia Department of Economic Development is sponsoring its Global Markets Insight Seminar at the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown on March 26. It is a great opportunity for companies interested in exporting and for companies that seek partnerships and sales into the US through Georgia.

Georgia has 10 trade offices across the globe that develop and coordinate trade and investment with Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the rest of the Americas. This gathering will include the State of Georgia’s representatives from Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Europe (Munich, Germany), Israel, Japan, Korea, Mexico and the United Kingdom. They will host a seminar and a networking reception. If you are exploring one of these countries, what a great chance to gain firsthand information on countries that you may be exploring to expand your business. Or if you are currently in-country and have not connected with these representatives, it is an excellent opportunity to do so.

This is a local opportunity to network with representaiaves who can directly aid Georgia companies in developing and cooridnating its international trade efforts. There is a small cost of $30 to attend and you can register online. The GA Dept of Economic Development representatives are engaged in helping companies assess the market and develop entry strategies including pre-qualification of partners and customers. They are knowledgeable about local business and banking practices and can help with finding the right mix to diversify markets.
